With some spare time last weekend I decided to give it a go...
I have to confess that I did buy the pastry ready made...I will make my own next time.
I was so relieved to see the pie had not burnt in the oven, although the bottoms and sides of the pie did stick to the tin! The top pastry, to me, came out perfectly...golden brown and crispy. The filling tasted amazing, so many powerful flavours.
